Privacy Policy
Last updated: 8 July 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Freelater Ltd (“FreeLater”, “we”, “us”) handles personal information for this website. FreeLater is currently pre-launch: the app is not yet available and this site is informational. The only personal data we collect here is what you submit through our contact form. This policy will be expanded before the app launches.
1. Who we are
Freelater Ltd is the data controller responsible for the personal information described in this policy.
Freelater Ltd is a company registered in England and Wales, company number 17309452, registered office 61 Bridge Street, Kington, HR5 3DJ, United Kingdom. You can reach us through the contact form.
2. Information we collect
When you submit our contact form, we collect:
- your name;
- your email address;
- the message you send us.
To reduce spam, the contact form uses hCaptcha, a service provided by Intuition Machines, Inc. hCaptcha may collect your IP address and limited device and browser information, and set cookies, to verify that you are human. See the hCaptcha Privacy Policy. Aside from hCaptcha, this site does not use analytics or advertising cookies.
3. How we use your information
We use the information you submit to:
- respond to your enquiry, feedback, or request;
- protect the form and our systems from abuse and spam;
- keep a record of correspondence where needed.
Our lawful basis for processing is our legitimate interest in responding to messages you choose to send us, and in keeping our website secure. We do not use your details for marketing without your consent, and we do not sell your personal information.
4. Sharing your information
We share personal information only with service providers who help us operate this site — currently our hosting provider and hCaptcha — and where required by law. These providers process data on our behalf under appropriate safeguards. Some of them may process data outside your country; where that happens we rely on appropriate transfer protections.
5. Data retention
We keep contact-form messages only as long as needed to handle your enquiry and for a reasonable period afterwards, then delete them. You can ask us to delete your message sooner at any time.
6. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal information, to object to processing, and to request a copy of your data. To exercise any of these rights, contact us through the contact form. You may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
7. Children
This site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children through it.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as FreeLater develops. Material changes will be reflected here with a new “last updated” date.
